Today's conversation was one of the most fun ones I've had in the history of The Self-Consciousness Podcast! Linda Schwartz is a Lao American stand up comic, writer, and podcast host. She has performed all over San Diego including the world famous Comedy Store in La Jolla. Her writing has been featured in Huffington Post, elephant journal, and she has been a ghostwriter for a couple of best selling books. Her podcast was recently chosen as a “Podcasts We Love” on WhoHaha, a website that spotlights and supports women in comedy. We talk about the very serendipitous way she got her start in comedy, how healing as become interwoven in her experience and work, and the "why" behind her comedy. We get a little personal talking about our families and what it’s like parenting with a partner from a different cultural background, and how motherhood empowers our work.
